The Herald is a Scottish broadsheet newspaper founded in 1783. It is the longest running national newspaper in the world and is the eighth oldest daily paper in the world. The title was simplified from The Glasgow Herald in 1992.
The Herald is published Monday to Saturday in Glasgow and has an audited circulation of 12,928 (as of 2023). It is part of the Newsquest Scotland stable of sites, which have 41m page views a month.
