Simple pleasures...

These 1950's kids were all agog when they attended a seaside Punch and Judy show. It's strange to think the same puppet show has been entertaining audiences since at least the 16th Century.

Love the lassie sucking on her sunglasses - maybe her mouth is watering at the thought of those sausages!

Mind you, most Glasgow kids would enjoy a show where a polis takes a battering.
