Just as Punk exploded, Britain also enjoyed a mini-Rock 'n' Roll revival.

It's November 1977, and these dancers are getting sweaty at Glasgow's Satellite City venue, atop the old Apollo.

Although you can't see, or hear them, the band onstage that night were Rock 'n' Roll and Doo-Wop revivalists Darts.

This guy, in brothel creepers and full drape suit, was gee'ing it laldy - although the ladies don't seem very impressed. He's on plums...
