It's 1959, and these adventurous girls are braving the ice on a Glasgow pond. Is it Bingham's, on Great Western Road? I'm not sure. I know that big church in the background should be a giveaway, but I can't quite place it.

The only trouble with skating arm-in-arm like this was, if one went down, the domino-effect kicked in, and you all ended up on your bahookies!
