We forget what a big deal Students' Charities Week used to be in Glasgow, with all sorts of bizarre stunts taking place across the city, all in the name of good causes. 

It's the 1950s, and these fancy-dress-clad cash collectors had decided to have a sausage sizzle at Shawlands Cross, building their own wee pavement bonfire to incinerate their links.
