Two-year-old Davis Marshall, from Dunoon, was up in town with his mum when he found a new co-star, film star Cary Grant.

The Bristol-born Hollywood heart-throb, real name Archie Leach, proved a hit with film-mad Glaswegians when he dropped into the Regal Cinema (today's ABC music venue) in Sauchiehall Street, in 1958, to watch a special screening of his new film, Indiscreet.

Although we doubt wee David knew who he was speaking to, these ladies certainly knew a matinee star when they met one.
