More 1960s Monkland Canal magic, with this wee hand-cranked bascule bridge looking for all the world like those you see painted on Chinese porcelain and Dutch Delft pottery.

Not sure where exactly this was taken, but you can glimpse the ghostly outlines of Glasgow Cathedral and the Royal Infirmary on the horizon.
