It's 1951, and Glasgow's glam gang are gathered at the Central Hotel for a fashion show. 

In a city that's always loved to dress well, such events, including lunchtime fashion shows in the big department stores, were a popular attraction.

That said, you wouldn't today get away with parading in fur. That outfit looks like it might be ocelot, and we think it looks better on the beast than on the model...
